Our story

More than a sandwich shop

Grace Kim opened Blue Heron in 2005. Since then the wall by the window has filled with flyers for neighborhood theatre, art walks, and concerts — swapped out every week. The shop has hosted live music of its own.

From the neighborhood regulars to the fishermen that visit from afar, I want all of them to come in knowing that they're always welcome at Blue Heron.

— Grace Kim, owner
